Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost? Prices begin at $3,650. Because each individual comes with different health and mental requirements, we offer 3 levels of care based upon the resident’s needs. The personal assessment determines the care level required and we work closely with families and physicians to determine what is the best level for your loved one.

What is your ratio of residents to caregivers? Our quality staff includes 24-hour on call nursing with two LPN's and one RN working weekdays full time. In addition we provide medical technicians, caregivers, care floaters and activities staff. We average 6 residents to 1 caregiver and our number one priority is for the safety and care of your loved one.

What can each resident bring with them? Residents may bring their own furniture with them. However, we do provide beds, nightstands and dresser chests if needed. Personal items and pictures are encouraged, as well as special mementos that help generate warm memories. We do caution that items of great value be kept off-site in a safe deposit box or in secured storage.

How often can family members visit? Our community is open to family & friends at anytime. We have scheduled activities daily, with monthly activity calendars available for you to pick up at the Reception Desk. This will help you plan ahead if we have an activity you would like to participate in. Otherwise, please visit frequently and often. You may also want to share a meal while you are visiting. Our kitchen staff appreciates 2 hours advance notice for meal reservations. We have a private dining room that seats 6, picnic tables in the Serenity Garden or enjoy a meal with the residents who share a table with your loved one.

How do we handle doctors’ appointments? We ask that the family schedule medical appointments. We are happy to provide the resident’s transportation to and from their appointments, if needed.

What is your ratio of women to men residents? The ratio may vary and if your loved one is a male, be assured he will have friends and feel very welcome. We offer a “Men’s Only Group” and on average, our ratio is about 5 female residents to 1 male.

Can you accommodate special diets? Our dietary staff is happy to work with you on a special menu to provide for individual dietary needs.
